Director of Cheer City and Event Coordinator for Slam City
Cheerleading and gymnastics have always been a strong passion of mine. I started doing gymnastics when I was two then I began cheering in 6th grade. I cheered all through middle school and high school till I graduated from Fredericksburg Christian. I then went on to cheer at Liberty University. Cheering at a D1 school for football and basketball was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Now I coach at Fredericksburg Christian. Coaching has been such a rewarding way to stay in the cheerleading atmosphere. Helping mold cheerleaders with an attitude to work hard and achieve greatness is my goal. I start with teaching the basics to ensure form, and building up self-esteem help to create confident and talented cheerleaders.
I am a recent graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor's in Communications: Advertising/Public Relations. Cheerleading has always been a passion of mine. I started when I was really little cheering for our hometown football team, The Grizzlies. After that I was pretty much hooked. I was a part of both sideline and competition teams from middle school all the way through college. Cheering in college for a D1 school was an amazing experience, like no other. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to fulfill one of my lifetime dreams and compete in Disney World and UCA College Nationals and place as one of the top 5 teams in the nation. After Cheering in college I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be a Cheerleader Ambassador for the Washington Redskins. It was an amazing opportunity and I got to meet a lot of great people who helped inspire me. Coaching and working with younger cheerleaders has also been a passion of mine for quite some time. It is a great way to stay involved in cheerleading and to help mold future cheerleaders to have great attitudes while working individually and together to achieve excellence, not only in cheerleading but in life.
